Unveiling of the Julia Creek Police Station The official unveiling was held in the afternoon with about 60 of the South Australian Police Historical Society present with local residents there was a very good crowd to this significant event. The scenery at this location was worthy of photos, without there being an historic marker.

The unveiling was full of stories about the very earliest days of South Australia as we were told about this spot being the 8th Police Station in South Australia.

The memorial is just fabulous, well done to the Dunstan family.

You can visit this memorial anytime as it has been located next to the roadside.
